Pastor
Mullery Jean-Pierre is the pastor of Beraca Baptist Church founded by his father the late Rev. Soinier Jean-Pierre in January 1978. He is a visionary leader who has pastored Beraca Baptist Church for the past 9 years.
By God's grace, under his leadership they acquired their first property, in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn. Since then the church has grown from meeting with about 80 to over 800 in their two worship services.
To reach deeper into the community, he and the board of elders formed the Beraca Community Development Corporation where they run their food pantry, youth athletics program and developing seniors program.
In the wake of the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake in Haiti, he and the elders developed the Beraca Haiti Relief Fund to meet the daunting ongoing needs of the Haitian People. The Beraca Haiti Relief Fund will be providing medical assistance, food, housing, grief and crisis counseling to those immediately affected by this devastation.
