Beraca Baptist Church

Beraca Baptist Church though predominately Haitian, is a multi-cultural church with about 17 different nationalities worshiping together every weekend.

Beraca Baptist church is no stranger to mission work in Haiti. For the past eight years we’ve conducted mission trips to Haiti with our nurses, doctors and other health professionals along with teacher, counselors and spiritual leaders. We know the people and area very well.

Our Mission Statement:
Reaching Haitians and all nations for Christ, training them to be disciples, equipping them to make disciples.

Our association of churches called Converge Northeast, has facilities strategically located in Port-au-Prince. With an office and resident located right across the street from the airport, we can stage our operation with immediate access to the devastated sites.

We also have an additional site in Maissade Haiti which consists of a two story missionary residence, church, and school. We normally use these facilities to run health clinics, leadership training for pastors and their leaders, summer camp for the 200 children who do not attend school and 75 children in two orphanages. We have a newly built canteen where we feed 125 street children.

Last year, we started constructing a building that will be used for a seminary and vocational school. Also, a foundation was laid for a clinic, however due to a lack of funding in conjunction with political tension, we had to cease the construction. Those facilities are accessible from Port-au-Prince via Hinche and also from the Dominican Republic.
